Our Vision

Simply put, Ashley’s heart is to bring hope and future; Dan’s heart is to bring awareness and build sponsorship. Together we can change the world, one life at a time, one eye opening experience at a time.

We believe it is so important to be in love with God, enjoy life, and have a blast doing it. When God calls you to do something, it will often, if not always, be bigger than yourself. Thankfully, He doesn’t just call the ones who are qualified, but he qualifies the ones He calls. Taking on this children’s home is way bigger than the two of us. We know this is the place God is calling us to for this time in our lives. We are excited to watch God change our lives, as we have the opportunity to help change the lives of the children, the city, and all the people around us. We strongly believe that every person who sponsors with us financially and prayerfully will be forever impacted and changed. We are believing for a touch from God for ourselves and for all of those who partner with us. We believe we are going to make history in Guatemala and around the world. Together we can make the difference.

We want to be able to take children who have been broken, neglected, starved, abused — children with no hope for the future — and we want to show them that HOPE is real through Jesus Christ. We want to show them that they are not used up, that God has an amazing plan for their lives, that He loves them more than anything in the entire world, and that He is standing with arms wide open, ready to love them and restore every scattered and broken piece of them. We want to see children who come into this home be completely and totally transformed by the love of Jesus Christ. We want to see them raise up to be passionate men and woman of God, burning ones who will live with purpose, and walk into the destiny God has for them.

We want to be able to take sponsorship and sponsor-interaction to a whole new level. Our desire is to see people become engaged. Our heart is to bring people to Christ, and that everyone would know they have a purpose. We want to help people find their purpose. We want people to see that there is more to life, and that everyone can, in some way, effectively reach and help others. We want to see people get engaged with what is going on in Guatemala; we want to create and develop different resources through media and technology that will be able to bring the realities of what is really going on there to life. Our plan is to take what God is doing at Casa D’ Alabanza and bring it home, and really make it a reality to the average person. Our vision is to make it possible for everyone to be a part. There are people who dream of going to a third world country but may never get to go; there are people who want to make a difference in the world but may not know how; there are people who want to do something bigger than themselves but don’t know what; there are many more people with similar stories. They want to do something, be a part of something. We want to be the ones to give them that opportunity. We want to create resources that will make you feel like you are there. We want to create an experience that will impact people’s lives.

Our plan for the people that sponsor us and the funding of the home is to bring them there in a real way. We want to provide a very interactive experience through the web and make sponsors feel like they are a part of it, and really feel what it is like to be there. We plan on doing this through videos, pictures, blogs, email, and have people be able to connect with us through Facebook and Twitter. We will be providing great media content monthly, if not weekly, using the world of technology to bring people there in the most realistic way possible.

Our passion is people, our message simple: to bring the love of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.
